New research from York University shows that CBT treatment can help control the emotions, feelings and behavior of children with autism spectrum disorder.
Approximately 70% of children with autism spectrum disorders struggle with some emotional challenges. According to Weiss, we can use CBT to manage many of the challenges of mental health issues. The results of this study showed a clear difference between the subject and control groups in terms of emotion management and mental health in general.
