Cloth breathing mask sewing tutorial

1. Cut two fabric rectangles according to the pattern in the picture. You can also use strong woolen or cotton fabrics such as quilts or sheets. If you do not have access to these fabrics, the T-shirt fabric may also be suitable. Then put two fabric rectangles on top of each other and embroider.

2. Set aside a half-centimeter border along the fabric pattern as a border and pin. Then fold the edge of the pattern fabric again by 1 cm and embroider. In this section, a plastic strip is placed to connect the corners.

3. Insert plastic tape or stretch across the pattern and pin it on both sides. You can use a large needle or hairpin to attach it. Tie the two ends tightly. If you do not have plastic tape, you can also use a headband.

4. Gently pull on the plastic tape to secure the knots. Then put the mask on your face to make sure it is the right size.
